When space is at a premium but espresso is a high priority, the Rocket Espresso Appartamento is just the ticket. This classically designed portafilter espresso machine fits stylishly into almost any kitchen environment. Rocket sets visual accents with the round cut-outs on the sides and the typical rotary valves with the R. When it comes to technology, no compromises were made in the development of the machine; the large copper boiler, ceramic pressure trumpet and no-burn steam lance are also familiar from the larger Rocket models. Thanks to the flat feet and somewhat lower overall height, the machine also finds enough space under most wall cabinets.

In everyday use:

It's a pleasure to unpack the Appartamento. It's nice that Rocket doesn't skimp on the simple portafilter and a proper aluminium tamper, even with the "small" machine. After switching it on and heating it up, the pump works quietly thanks to low-vibration suspension, without PID or other gimmicks, there is not much to do but find the right grind and enjoy perfect espresso. If you turn the steam valve, you will be rewarded with dry and powerful steam, fine-pored foam is no problem, and thanks to no-burn technology, the steam lance is easy to clean.

The Appartamento is available ex works in copper and white.
