The Lelit Mara X is a compact dual-circuit espresso machine with stainless steel boiler and PID temperature control, as well as the proven E-61 brew group. Thanks to its slim housing, the Mara X fits into even the smallest kitchens. Unlike most Espresso machine s, the housing is not polished, but brushed to a satin finish. The Lelit Mara X perfectly fulfils the purpose of an espresso machine for every day, easy to operate and convincing in its results.

Modern espresso machine in a classic look

The Lelit team from Lombardy primarily manufactures strainer machines for home use, thus the portafilters are thought out down to the last detail for the home kitchen and its use.

The double probe system ensures a constant temperature for the brewing water, comparable coffee machines with an E-61 brewing group can overheat after a certain time, with Lelit the new system ensures a constant brewing temperature at all times (operating mode on I). A cooling flush is thus a thing of the past.

However, those who like to froth can also switch the Mara X to steam mode for maximum steam power (switch set to 0 position).

Large cups fit easily under the petite Mara X, thanks to the raised brew group. Thanks to a raised cup grid, the espresso does not cool down during brewing and runs cleanly into the cup. When the rotary valve for the steam is opened, the "Cold-Touch" steam pipes prevent the milk from caking.

Two LEDs signal to the home barista whether the Mara X is ready for use if the water is running low or if it is still heating up.

Raffinated is also the 2-place filter holder with outlets positioned towards the back instead of on the side. This means that the Mara X does not require a single portafilter for the single espresso. The espresso also hits the single espresso cup from both outlets.

Surprisingly quiet pump

The Lelit Mara PL62X has a vibration pump, but it is surprisingly quiet. When you switch it on, you might think you are dealing with a rotary pump. The drip tray and cup tray stand on small rubber buffers, vibrating metal parts are not an issue.

The right temperature for every espresso

A feature you wouldn't expect in this price segment is the PID controller. A PID controller is an electronic temperature control, they are more accurate than the classic pressure switch and offer the possibility to quickly adjust the temperature of the espresso machine. The highlight of the Mara X is that the temperature is not only measured in the boiler, but also in the heat exchanger. In the Lelit Mara PL62X, the temperature setting is solved with a toggle switch. The brewing temperature can be adjusted to the roast of the bean in three stages. With an additional switch on the right side, the X-mode, you can choose whether the machine should prefer the exact brewing temperature or the perfect steam pressure. Both switches are hidden behind the drip tray and cannot be seen during normal operation. Probably no one will miss a display on the Mara X.
