The IMS B662TH26M Competition Precision Sieve Dalla Corte for two cups (14 to 18 grams) has round holes with a conical cross-section for even better cream formation and extraction.

The shape was determined by I.M.S. to obtain the correct relationship between the base and height of the coffee puck. The filter is designed with a cylindrical convex base to collect the coffee towards the centre during extraction. This shape is designed to make use of the whole coffee puck. It also makes drying and tapping easier.
