The Mazzer Mini espresso grinder is a direct grinder from the traditional Mazzer company, which has secured a firm place in the upper class of household espresso grinders over the years. Highly precise, modern manufacturing and attention to the smallest detail make this grinder so special. Mazzer does not use any external parts and manufactures everything itself in the factory, with the Venetian team drawing on over 70 years of know-how.
The heart of this elegant grinder is the 64 mm grinding discs with a high-precision espresso cut, which achieves very high extraction rates and conjures up a first-class espresso in your favorite cup. For 2018, Mazzer has further optimized the grinding of the grinding discs to achieve faster grinding. It now grinds around 1.5 grams per second without compromising on the quality of the cup. The 250 watt low-speed motor grinds slowly and very gently. The aluminum housing is pressed into a unit at 4 bar pressure, which ensures that the grinding discs have absolutely no play.
There are two different versions for getting the grinding discs to work. In the “A” version, the mill is controlled via a large display above the funnel. Two timers can be stored here and a separate button can be used to grind the coffee very precisely.
The grinding level is adjusted using a small pin underneath the bean container, where the grinding level can be continuously adjusted. The large grinding level ring allows for very precise adjustment and allows the grinder to be set coarse enough for filter coffee.
