The Bezzera DUO is the long-awaited dual boiler from Bezzera. The DUO is available in two different versions. The MN features a classic E61 brewing group with a lever for manual control of the extraction. The DE version is equipped with Bezzera's proprietary BZ brewing group, which features five programmable buttons for controlling the extraction. Once set, a single press of a button is all it takes to extract the same amount of espresso every time.

The large touchscreen display is revolutionary; its beautifully designed interface allows you to control and adjust all of the machine's parameters. The setting options are extremely diverse, ranging from the temperature of the two boilers, to an optional pre-infusion, a cleaning program with a reminder function, and even an integrated timer for automatically turning the machine on and off.

You can see how much meticulousness was put into the development by the fact that they even included a 10-second key lock to prevent settings from being accidentally changed when cleaning the machine. Chapeau!

The classic look of the DUO is impressive; the finely crafted wooden handles on the portafilter and levers have a great feel, and the sheet metal workmanship is typically Bezzera. The machine offers a variety of settings to optimize extraction; in addition to adjusting the temperature of both boilers, you can also set a pre-infusion. Despite the many options, the menu remains clear thanks to its good structure.
