What does single dose mean?

"Single Dosing" is the latest trend in the coffee and espresso scene. Here, the beans are precisely weighed for each brewing process and filled into the bean hopper. The goal of a good single doser is to get all the ground coffee out of the grinder without leaving any residue. With the new Mignon Single Dose, Eureka has developed a grinder that meets precisely these requirements. Part of the new ELR Extremely Low Retention System is the 15° incline of the housing. This reduces dead space to a minimum. Once the grinding process is complete, the Blow Up System "blows" almost every last trace of coffee grounds out of the grinder. This is particularly advantageous for home use, as no yesterday's coffee grounds end up in the first cup and spoil the shot or brew.

Patented disc grinder - fast and quiet

The 65mm Diamond Inside burrs ensure excellent grinding results in the cup and wear extremely slowly thanks to the special hardening process. Coffee lovers will surely appreciate the quiet yet fast operation every day. While grinding 2.3–2.8 g/s at an espresso grind and 2.8–3.3 g/s at various coffee makers' grind settings, this small all-rounder develops a noise level of just 60 decibels. Quite an achievement!

Exclusive design completes the overall impression

This grinder not only offers impressive internal qualities, but also a high-quality design. A fine oak lid on the bean hopper and the oak mount for the grounds container replace components usually made of plastic. A matching stainless steel grounds container with the Eureka logo is also included, again with no trace of plastic.
