ECM Classika PID Single Circuit Fast Heat Up

This machine is equipped with the new "Fast Heat UpThis means the machine only needs about half the heat-up time of its predecessor model. The brewing boiler is overheated to about 30 degrees for 3 minutes to achieve the perfect brewing temperature. For the first 11 minutes, "UP" appears on the display; this is the warm-up program. At around 11:30 minutes, the display switches to "FLU". The brewing group, including the portafilter, should then be rinsed with water for about 20 seconds. The overheated water from the boiler is then pumped through the "too cold" E61 brewing group, thereby warming the brewing group and portafilter. We then recommend a 1-minute rest phase, and espresso can then be made at 92 degrees.

Heats up very quickly with excellent espresso results
This single-circuit espresso machine is a real winner. It's technically equipped with every advanced technology. The first espresso can be drawn from the ECM Classika PID portafilter in just 10 minutes. This machine is ideal for households that primarily consume espresso. The Classika's steam is impressive, strong and dry. However, for lovers of milk-based coffees, switching back and forth between espresso and steam can be quite cumbersome over time.

Finest classic manufacture machine with compact dimensions

A single-circuit machine of the finest quality, both inside and out. Below the removable cup tray is the sufficiently large water tank, which can be removed upwards. Of course, the orange indicator light warns when the water level gets too low and switches the machine off in time to prevent overheating. The cup rest gets warm enough to preheat enough espresso cups. 10 minutes after switching on the portafilter, you're ready to go: pull the small lever on the E-61 group upwards, the quietly mounted vibration pump purrs into action and produces a delicious espresso with a fine-pored crema. To control the brewing time, the PID temperature display automatically switches to the shot timer display as soon as the brewing begins, showing you the brewing time in seconds. Perfect! After 22-25 seconds, push the lever back down. Now simply enjoy espresso like in Italy. Does the espresso taste a bit too bitter or too acidic? The PID temperature control allows you to get the best from every bean by ideally adjusting the temperature of your beans. Guests who would like a cappuccino? Switch the machine to steam mode using the toggle switch and release some water from the steam nozzle to make room for the developing steam. After about 1 minute, the steam is dry and sufficiently strong, easily enough to froth two cappuccinos. If you want to serve more than two guests, you'll need to froth the steam again.
