Enhances sweet notes, reduces acidity


A new sieve with unusual perforations has been created in the E&B laboratory at IMS.

The reason for this hole arrangement, according to »IMS«: This would result in an even extraction of the coffee when making espresso, with the sweet notes coming to the fore while the acids would be reduced.

These sieves are therefore less suitable for types of coffee that have lemony aromas. Forcing the sweeter aromas would get in the way of the citrus notes.
