The ground coffee trickles quietly into the portafilter, with an astonishing grinding noise of less than 70dB, a first for the grinding kings. The grinding level is set in typical royal fashion using a large adjustment ring and can be adjusted continuously. Even exotic portafilters can be perfectly attached using a height-adjustable holder. The antistatic material allows the ground coffee to fall cleanly into the portafilter, leaving a tidy work surface.
