This new Mazzer grinder is the next step, after the Mini Electronic and the Super Jolly Classic, to the high-end professional grinder. The elegant design of the Super Jolly Classic has been retained but it has been given a contemporary and absolutely elegant-looking display that Mazzer connoisseurs have already lusted after in the bar line. The Super Jolly V pro is also supplied with 64 mm grinding discs, but with a new cut and made of high carbon steel, which of course has advantages: The V pro grinds 20% faster with a higher extraction rate than the Super Jolly Classic, the ground coffee does not show any clumping or static charge. The average quantity deviation is an ambitious +/- 0.3 gr. These fine differences will certainly be noticed positively by one or two crema experts. The grinder has all the important features for professional use in the bar and restaurant sector, but will certainly appeal to many home baristas who are looking for a robust, easy-to-clean precision grinder. The first thing that catches the viewer's eye is the well-designed display, which is positioned on the centering container in typical Mazzer style. The viewing angle is 160° and makes it easier to control, even when the grinder is higher up. Three programmable quantities are offered, the Super Jolly speaks 19 languages, the grinding statistics can be called up and a service reminder helps forgetful users to keep the grinder in good condition. After the well-functioning but visually slightly reminiscent of senior citizens' phones display of the Mini and Super Jolly Classic, this innovation is a real highlight. If you then push the display to the side with a satisfying click, it glides elegantly into position and reveals another key part of the grinder: the Grind Flow Control. Even the inexperienced barista can remove and clean this in two easy steps. The GFC ensures that the quantity varies slightly from dose to dose and prevents clumping and electrostatic charging. Another improvement is the grinding level setting. The grinding discs are now installed in such a way that after removing them for cleaning or replacement, you can go straight back to the old setting. Great, that's a bit tedious with the other smaller models. The Memory Track System also allows you to determine the zero point (the grinding discs are on top of each other) of the mill on the grinding ring yourself. If you have several mills, for example, the same zero point makes working easier. A zero point at 0 is also more intuitive than at 9, for example.
