In-tank water filter bag Bestsave from BWT - limescale protection pad for coffee machines with water tank. For all portafilter machines with plastic water tank and large opening. In addition, the water in the tank may not reach a maximum temperature of 40°. The BWT bestsave limescale protection pad removes the limescale-forming Ca² and Mg² from the water, but valuable trace elements and minerals are retained. It also protects against bacterial growth in the water tank. Simple and ingenious. The filter bag is simply placed in the plastic water tank, the ion exchange takes place automatically. The process takes around 8-10 hours, it is best to fill the tank in the evening so that there is enough decalcified water available for the following day. The bag has a capacity of around 85 liters at 10° German water hardness and must be replaced every 2 months at the latest.
